Canada Scores Big at World Games

September 9, 2013 Bregenz, Austria - The Canadian National Martial Arts Association is pleased to announce that Team Canada 2013 represented by members from BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan accumulated a total of 37 medals comprised of 15 Gold, 18 Silver and 4 Bronze at the 7th World Martial Arts Games in Bregenz, Austria.   Leading Canada was Justin Jubinville-Mah of Victoria with 8 Gold medals and Rachel Hamilton with  3 Gold and 3 Silver medals.  In addition, the Canadian entry into the women's Team Sparring competition made up entirely  of members of Vilcu's Karate Klub in Estevan, Saskatchewan placed 2nd behind Austria, but ahead of Great Britain and Germany.  Individual Standings are as follows:
